WOMEN'S WATER POLO: STAY HOT HORNETS

The red-hot Lady Hornets won their 13 consecutive game at home Wednesday defeating Orange Coast College 20-2.

Fullerton came out strong in the first quarter taking a 6-0 lead in to set the tone for the game. By the end of the first half, the Hornets held a healthy 8-1 advantage.

In the second half, the FC defense kept the Pirates in check with 25 steals while allowing only one goal.

FC's Abigail Nunez led all scorers with 6 goals. She also added 3 steals and 2 assists. Alexandra Lopez and Jessica Contreras both tossed in 3 goals a piece. Lopez was also a big contributor on defense with 8 steals. Bryanna Santis had 1 goal, 3 assists, and 5 steals. Tarsis Ledezma also stole the ball 5 times and added a goal to her stat sheet.

Up Next: The Hornets (19-2 overall, 4-1 OEC) will play in the Long Beach City College Tournament on Friday, October 19th and finish on Saturday.
