WOMEN'S X-COUNTRY: BRUBAKER CHAMPS!
The Lady Hornets are the 2013 Brubaker Invitational Champions taking 1st place on Friday at Irvine Park.
The FC team wore pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In a field of 80 competitors, the top 7 Fullerton runners placed in the top half of the race. FC also placed their top five runners in the top twenty spots of the race.
Maegan Garritson - 19:37, Daisy Esparza - 19:47, Elena Estrada - 20:25, Krystal Martinez - 20:38. Taylor Morico - 20:46, Daniela Rubio - 21:10, and Diana Ortega - 21:29 were the top 7 runners with a 1 to 5 gap of 1:09.
"This was definitely our best racing grouping of the season, and it gives us confidence coming back for our conference championships", Head Coach Gina Bevec.
Up Next: The Hornets will compete in the Orange Empire Conference Championships at Irvine Park on Friday, November 1st at 9:30 am.
