Bio

Phil Thurman enters his 18th year as Fullerton College's Sports Information Director. He oversees media relations and publication production for all of the FC athletic department's sports programs. 

Thurman also maintains the FC athletics website, writes press releases, oversees video/photo shoots, collects statistics, runs all social media, and maintains the archives for the college's twenty-one intercollegiate sports teams. 

He is also responsible for all the graphic design work for all of Fullerton College's sports teams of which he has won multiple awards from various public relations organizations.

Thurman is a member of the Fullerton College Athletics Hall of Fame committee which develops and researches new candidates for the FC Hall. Most of the biographies of the HoF members were written by Thurman.
