Fullerton loses a tough one at Saddleback College after the Gauchos break up a 4-4 tie in the ninth inning.
With no outs in the bottom of the ninth the Hornets loaded the bases two errors. A passed ball sealed FC's fate allowing Saddleback to score the winning run.
Taking the Orange Empire series over Fullerton two games to one, Saddleback (16-7, 8-3) now takes over sole possession of first place in the OEC standings. The Hornets (17-7, 7-4) have now slipped into a three-way tie for second place with Santa Ana (16-8, 7-4) and Orange Coast (19-6, 7-4).
