FOOTBALL: D-LINE HAS RECORD TRANSFERS
After a dominant season from the Hornets defensive linemen last fall, ten of them moved on from Fullerton College and signed with four-year institutions to further their playing careers at the next level of college football.
It comes as no surprise as these defensive linemen contributed heavily as part of an outstanding Hornets defense that racked up 40 sacks and 709 tackles to go with 15 interceptions over the course of last season.
The 2018 Hornet DL Transfers
Isaiah Curry / Texas A&M Commerce

*Blake Hehl / Old Dominion

*Midyear Transfer
Coach Robinson let it be known how proud he is of his defensive linemen that took the field for him last season when he emphasized, "You never see this many guys transfer at the same time. It really speaks to how good our entire defense looked last season."
Even with an unusually large amount of defensive linemen leaving the team after last season, the Hornets defense still expects to be dominating their opposition this fall with the crop of guys that are currently on the roster.
Up Next: After a successful scrimmage on Wednesday night at San Bernardino College that saw Fullerton leave with a win in a 38-14 final score, they will prepare to officially open up the new season. The Hornets will play Saturday, September 7th at 12:00pm, taking on Golden West College in their home opener at Yorba Linda High.
