Bio

Coach David Robinson begins his 4th season with the Hornet coaching staff.

With over 25 years of coaching experience, Robinson brings his extensive knowledge of the game to Fullerton College.

Robinson spent two seasons with Golden West College serving as their Defensive Coordinator. Under Robinson, the Rustlers went 15-7 overall, went to two bowl games, and amassed 57 total turnovers.

Son of legendary football coach John Robinson, David has seen plenty of big games as an assistant coach, including six bowl appearances, most notably, the 1996 Rose Bowl and 1995 Cotton Bowl.

After earning all-league recognition at Sonora High School, Robinson played football with the Hornets under Hal Sherbeck where he played on the 1983 national title team. He graduated from Long Beach State in 1987.  He and his wife, Arleen, live in Buena Park.
