FULLERTON TAKES TOP HONORS IN ALL-OEC SELECTIONS

Winning the Orange Empire Conference with a 11-1 record since 2009, the Fullerton College Hornets reaped the top honors in the All-OEC selection. Hornet sophomore guard, Ian Fox, was named the Most Valuable Player, while Head Coach Perry was named the Coach of the Year in just his second season at the helm.

Fox averaged 16.3 points per game for Fullerton during OEC-play. He was 29-56 from beyond the arc shooting 51.8%. Starting in 11 conference games this season, Fox scored in double digits in 9 of the 11 games while recording highs of 24 points against Orange College and 21 points against Saddleback College.

Coach Perry Webster was honored as the OEC Coach of the Year ending Saddleback's impressive five-year reign over the conference and Fullerton's eight-year championship dry spell. The last title was won in 2009 under Allen Caveness. In all, the Hornets have won a total of 28 conference championships.
