MEN'S BASKETBALL: ROSS SIGNS WITH LSUA
FC's Johnathon Ross made it official this week signing with Louisiana State University of Alexandria.
A sophomore from Long Beach's St. Anthony High School, Ross played an integral part of in the Hornet's success this past season winning the Orange Empire Conference Championship and making it all the way to the state championship game. In 33 games played, Ross scored a total of 228 points (6.9 average). He also averaged 5.3 rebounds and had 16 blocks.
The Generals of LSUA are getting a good one in Ross and the Hornets wish him the best on his next endeavor.
"John had a tremendous sophomore year for us. We are very proud of him achieving this scholarship to one of the top NAIA programs in the country. We are very excited to see John continue to evolve as a player and man. He contributed greatly to our program this past season", Hornet Head Coach Perry Webster.
