MEN'S BASKETBALL: NICK ANDERSON COMMITS TO CHAMINADE

Hornet guard Nick Anderson has chosen Chaminade University of Honolulu to be his next stop.

Anderson played one season for the Hornets and made an immediate impact captaining the team to an Orange Empire Conference Championship and a ticket to the State Championship game.

A second team All-Conference selection, Anderson played in 33 games averaging 7.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists. He had 40 steals, 8 blocks and shot 82.3% from the free throw line.

"Nick provided great leadership and big plays for us this past season. Without Nick, we are nowhere near a league championship and state runner up finish. His contributions on the floor and in the classroom, were felt. As a captain, I relied on him all year. Chaminade coaches feel like they got a steal and I couldn't agree more. I am happy for Nick and his family, Hornet Head Coach Perry Webster."
