The FC men's soccer team hosted Oxnard College on Tuesday with the hopes of tarnishing their undefeated record but instead settled for a 1-1 tie.

The Condors (3-0-1) have beaten College of the Desert 2-1, Santa Ana 1-0, and Palomar 4-0.

Right away spectators and officials saw that this match was going to be physical while featuring talent and speed from both teams.

Oxnard got on the board in the 23rd minute, but Fullerton answered back in the 34th minute when Sergio Ibarra slipped past a defender knocking in the unassisted goal.

Neither team was able to convert in the second half as both the Condors and the Hornets battled it out to a draw.

FC goalie Jose Estrada had 3 saves in 90 minutes.

Up Next: The Hornets (3-3-1 overall) travel north to Fresno City College on Tuesday, September 20th. Game time is at 2:00 pm.
