The FC men's volleyball team had their 4-game winning streak snapped 3-1 at home Wednesday night against undefeated Long Beach City College.
It was a non-conference game and a big test for the Hornets this season against the number one team in the land. With the loss Fullerton now sits at 6-4 overall and the Vikings remain unbeaten at 13-0.
In game one, LBCC came out hot cutting down the Hornets 25-16. Game two proved that Fullerton has some bite falling just short 25-23. In game three, FC broke through with a 23-25 win but lost another tough one in the fourth and final game 25-19.
Garrett Geiger brought down 15 kills for the Hornets, and Kyle Young added 10 kills. Alex Serrano had 9 digs and 7 kills, while Zach Huizar contributed 8 digs. Brian Marquez delivered 38 assists and had 4 digs.
Up Next: The Hornets (6-4 overall) will open conference-play against Santiago Canyon College at home Wednesday, March 14th at 6:00 pm.
