MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: GEIGER TO HAWAII

Sophomore volleyball standout Garrett Geiger has committed to the University of Hawaii!

A 6-5 outside hitter from Esperanza High School, Geiger will be playing for the current No. 1 team in the country. The Rainbow Warriors are currently an undefeated 25-0 and are on the verge of having their best season in school history.

Geiger led the Hornets in kills in 2018 during his freshman year with 171 Kills and earned 2nd Team All Orange Empire Conference. He also helped Fullerton to berth in the state tournament, a first for the program in only its third season of existence. Currently, Garrett is leading the 2019 Hornets in kills at 186 with two matches left on the season. When it is all said and done Geiger will go down as the all-time leader in career kills.
 
"Overall, he's great kid to coach. He is motivated on and off the court to better himself and has proven to be a leader of his team", Hornet Coach James Anderson.
 
"Geiger is one of a kind!  He's always looking for a challenge and is inspired by the physical and mental challenges that tough humans take on. We are proud of him", Hornet Head Coach Eddie Rapp.
