After taking two losses in its first two games, Fullerton snapped out of it sweeping San Diego Mesa College in the Hornets Nest 3-0 last Friday night.

In the first game, FC jumped all over the Olympians with a 10-1 lead and then pushed on to 21-12 before winning it 25-18. In game two, the Olympians came to battle grabbing an 8-7 lead. FC went up 15-10 on Aaron Delgado-Tietze's kill at mid-court. Mesa refused to go away. The Hornets had a 24-18 lead and were about to put the game away, but Mesa refused to go away going on a 6-0 run tying the game up at 24-24. Fullerton's Hunter Wong-Hin put the game to bed on a nice kill for a 26-24 game two win. Game three it looked as if the Olympians might have a chance to win the set with a 12-10 lead, however the Hornets caught fire ripping off 15-6 run to take the match 25-16.

Leonardo Mazuco had a game-high 11 kills on the night. Hunter Wong-Hin tabbed 10 kills with 4 digs, and Connor Stoebe knocked down 7 kills. Aaron Delgado-Tietze handed out 31 assists and had 3 solo blocks.
