MEN'S WATER POLO: A MINUTE FROM THE TOURNEY TITLE

The FC men's water polo team played very well at the San Diego Mesa Tournament over the weekend winning three games out of four.

On day one, the Hornets swept through the competition beating Southwestern College 14-7 and the tournament host San Diego Mesa 16-8.  The next morning, FC followed up with a 13-2 win over Chaffey College. Playing in the tournament's title game against Grossmont, the Hornets led through out the match until the final minute when the Griffins scored the winning goal to win it 12-11.
