MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: CLOSING GAPS

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: CLOSING GAPS

The Hornets took 10th overall at the Brubaker Invitational last Friday.

The event was held at Irvine Park with a total of 153 runners, and Fullerton's top five men finished in 34th, 47th, 69th, 80th, and 100th place overall.

Mauro Rosales ran 22:10 for 34th place, while Ian Rusk trailed just 19 seconds behind him at 47th place.

"This was a very good effort of closeness for these two men. The grouping tactic is improving and will need atom tighten up a little bit more at the end of the season.", Head Coach Gina Bevec.

Andrew Fernando ran within 34 seconds of Rusk for 69th place, and Ryan Sheatz was just 18 seconds behind him.

William Gerard had a minute and five-second gap between him and Ryan for the top five finishers for the men.

Sean Wing and Matthew Worrall were within five seconds of each other for the sixth and seventh team finishers.
