The Softball Hornets have begun the 2014 season on absolute fire (6-0) enforcing the Mercy Rule on every team they have played! In their first 6 games, FC has accumulated 76 hits in 167 at bats with a team batting average of 455. They have scored an astonishing sixty runs to their opponent's seven.
In the season opener last Wednesday, FC beat Chaffey 8-0.
This past weekend the Hornets played in the College of the Desert tournament sweeping through Barstow 11-0, San Bernardino 11-0, San Diego City 11-3, Imperial Valley, 10-1, and Mt. San Jacinto 9-1.
Up Next: The Hornets (6-0) will travel down south to Palomar College on Thursday, February 6th. Game time is at 2:30 pm.
