Coaches, staff, teammates, family, and friends gathered in the Hornets Nest to witness Tristian sign on the dotted line.

Johns, a 5-11 guard/forward from Westminster, California, was a two-time All-Orange Empire Conference selection for the 2016-17 and 2018-19 seasons. She was a 1st team selection this season and was second among the coaches in voting. Tristian was also a 3rd Team All-State selection.

During the 2018-19 season, Tristian averaged 16.8 points a game along with 6.2 rebounds. For 2016-17, she averaged 12.7 points a game and 5.7 rebounds. Altogether, Johns totaled 826 points, 334 rebounds, and 96 steals during her time at Fullerton College.

"It has been a long road for Tristian, and she's worked extremely hard in the classroom and on the court to have this opportunity. I know that Talladega College and Coach Kevin Herod will continue to get the best out of her. She will be a success at the next level, and I look forward to the great things she will accomplish", Hornet Head Coach Marcia Foster.

The Talladega College Tornadoes are coming off an impressive 28-6 season playing in the NAIA National Tournament where they defeated Menlo in the first round 65-49.
