WOMEN'S GOLF: HORNETS MAKING STRIDES

The FC women's golf team made their presence known at the South Coast Invitational held at Olivas Links in Ventura.  With 12 teams competing from three different conferences, Fullerton placed 3rd overall at the All-SoCal event.

At the end of day one on Sunday, FC's Nea Bennett (71) was a stroke behind Saddleback's Makenzie Fahr (70) and Santa Barbara's Fanny Johansson (70) and two strokes behind the leader Sadye Busby of Palomar.

In day two, Tiffany Kohyama (80) shot the best score for the Hornets behind IVC's Cindy Dang (79), Mt. San Jacinto's Alice Hiluta (78), Santa Barbara's Fanny Johansson (78), Palomar's Busby (78), and COD's Brook Roney (77).

As a team, the Hornets placed 3rd overall with a score of 647.
