The Hornets snapped their 0-8 losing streak at home on Tuesday beating up on Norco College 5-2.
In an Orange Empire Confernence match-up Fullerton (1-8 overall, 1-4 conference) overcame a rocky start to the season by locking down their first win against Norco (1-6-1, 0-3-1) scoring five goals while handing the Mustangs their sixth overall loss.
The Hornets owned a 1-0 heading into the half, and then went on to score four more in the second half.
FC freshman Amber Grosso led the charge scoring 2 goals while Natalia Vasco, Ariana Fleischman, and Allyson Tovar each knocked one into the back of the net. Rebecca De Iorio and Fleischman contributed the assists.
Up Next: The Hornets will host OEC rival Santa Ana College this Friday, October 4th at 1:00 pm. The Dons had previously tied Norco (1-1) earlier this season.
