SWIM & DIVE: GAITATJIS SWIMS AT STATE
Sophia Gaitatjis was the lone Hornet swimmer to represent in the State Championships at De Anza College this past weekend.
She advanced to the consolation final and placed 16th in 200-yard Butterfly with her best time of 2:23.44.
"Sophia improved her time and had an excellent meet in conclusion to the season. I'm very proud of Sophia for battling this season and jumping into the pool with a never-say-die attitude", Coach Pete Snyder.
