WOMEN'S TENNIS: YU SEUNG SUH TO CSUF

WOMEN'S TENNIS: YU SEUNG SUH TO CSUF

Yu Seung Suh earned a full-ride scholarship to the Cal State Fullerton Titans after just one year with the Fullerton College Hornets.

Suh, from South Korea, was a member of the 18U Korean National Team and ranked 621st in the world by the International Tennis Federation before making her way to Fullerton College.

She posted a 23-5 record in her year with the Hornets and served as the school's No.1 in both singles and doubles.

She also sported many other accomplishments:

•       Top 4 finish in the CCCAA Championships
•       All-Academic Scholar-Athlete
•       2019 ITA Rookie of the Year
•       2018 Fall ITA Southern California Regional Singles Champion
•       2019 Orange Conference MVP
•       All-Conference Co-Player of the Year
•       2019 ITA All American Team

What Suh did with Fullerton College cannot be appreciated enough. After posting ridiculous numbers her entire time with the school, it is no surprise how quickly an opportunity came her way to further her academic and playing career at a four-year institution.

"Yu Seung really made our team stronger. She is an exceptional team player. She handled each new task very well and is set to graduate from FC in December. I am very proud of how much she worked on the court and in the classroom. She will make us proud. She will be an outstanding member at CSUF and will win lots of matches for them", Hornet Head Coach Dr. Yolanda Duron.
