The Hornet women's volleyball team hit the road on Wednesday taking on Cerritos College and knocking off the Falcons 4-1 (21-25, 25, 21, 28-26, 25-16).
Cerritos' first set win over FC turned out to be their only high note on the night in a non-conference match-up as the Hornets held strong winning the next three games to take the match.
Cerritos led 9-2 and 15-12 in the fourth set, but saw the Hornets run off nine straight points and 13 of the final 14 points to clinch the match. It was also a close second set match that Fullerton pulled out to pull the match even.
FC's Madaline Barrett had 15 kills and 2 digs while Shawnna Chung knocked down 9 kills with 11 digs. Alanna Hayhurst had 9 kills an 22 digs. Angelina Ruiz contributed 25 assists and 9 digs.
