WOMEN'S WATER POLO: SANTIS NAMED CCCSIA ATHLETE OF THE MONTH
Hornet women's water polo standout Bryanna Santis turned in outstanding performances during the month of September and was rewarded for her efforts by being named the California Community College Sports Information Association Athlete of the Month.
Santis (La Serna High / Whiiter, CA) has been solid as a rock for the FC women's water polo team. The team was ranked No. 2 as of September 30th, but they beat three ranked teams to kick off October at the Cuesta College Invitational (No.1 Riverside, No. 4 Long Beach, and No. 3 Santa Barbara). Santis scored 11 total goals over that weekend to lead Fullerton. During the month of September, Santis scored 14 goals and was among the state leaders in assists with 23 assists. Last season's team leader, Bryanna continues to guide her team for another state run.
