CRENSHAW SIGNS WITH SACRAMENTO STATE

Freshman slugger Garet Crenshaw will stay a Hornet after signing with Sacramento State University on Wednesday. 

Following a strong 2022 campaign with the Hornets, Crenshaw batted .281 with 31 RBI, 32 runs, 38 hits, and 4 steals in 40 games. He was the team leader in home runs with 8 in the year, which tied him for 2nd overall in the Orange Empire Conference. For his efforts, Garet earned 2nd Team All-Orange Empire Conference honors. 

Crenshaw will join a Hornet squad that went 32-26 under Reggie Christiansen this past season posting their 10th consecutive season with 30-or-more victories.  

In Crenshaw, Sacramento State will be getting a fast and durable athlete that can hit for power and average.
