THREE HORNETS COMMIT

Just a week after the success of the 2023 post-season, Haku Dudoit, Kaipo Haole, and Michael Curatolo all commit to four-year colleges.

Sophomore catcher Haku Dudoit (Baldwin High/Wailuku, Hawaii) signed with Concordia University, Irvine after a strong 2023 campaign in which he had 133 putouts (.975 fielding) and threw out 13 runners. Offensively, Haku batted .267 with 27 hits (4 doubles), had 23 runs, and 14 RBI in 27 games played. He also added 12 stolen bases.

Sophomore infielder Kaipo Haole (Baldwin High/Wailuku, Hawaii) will be joining his high school and Hornet teammate Haku at Concordia University, Irvine. In 35 games played, Kaipo batted .229 with 22 hits (5 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run), had 14 runs, and 17 RBI.

Sophomore right-handed pitcher Michael Curatolo (Brea Olinda High/Brea, CA) signed with the University of La Verne. In 10 appearances, Curatolo threw 18.1 innings and had 2 saves for the Hornets, while sporting a team-best 1.96 ERA. Michael played an integral role in helping his team clinch the SoCal Regionals. In game three against LA Valley, he threw 6 innings, had 3 hits against, and struck out 4 batters for the save.
