The JC Athletic Bureau California Community College Football Coaches Association released the All-American and All-State teams on Tuesday with two Hornet defenders CJ Nesmith and Branson Tita-Nwa earning All-American honors.

Coming off the bye week, the No. 5 Hornets journeyed down south to San Diego Mesa College for some Thursday Night Football and got past the Olympians 27-14.

The Hornet football team took a bus down the 5 Freeway to visit Southwestern College on Saturday night and took it to the Jaguars 59-7.
