An opportunity to start up a pilot program with the US Army as a government contractor in 2019 was too good to pass up so Coach Miranda packed up and moved to Fort Knox, Kentucky for a year where he began a program at the Battalion level with the 19th Engineer BN. He soon returned to Fullerton College in 2023 and is currently working with the football and men's soccer programs as the head strength and conditioning coach.
