HUTCHISON SIGNS WITH UCI

Sophomore standout Chazz Hutchison made his choice on Thursday signing with UC Irvine. 

Hutchison has been racking up the awards this year recently being named the "Male Athlete of the Year" by the Fullerton College Athletics Department, along with being the Orange Empire Conference MVP and an All-State selection. 

A product of Mission Viejo High, Hutchison will stay locally in Orange County joining a talented UCI team that finished the season 15-10 overall (9-1 at home) and 9-5 in the Big West Conference. 

The Anteaters are getting an athletic 6-9 big man who can find the open shot. A one-year sensation for FC, Chazz played a key role in the team's success this season finishing with a 25-4 record and another OEC title. He averaged 11.7 points, brought down 7.2 rebounds per game with 28 blocked shots.

Chazz is the 5th Hornet to sign with a four-year college this spring. Other signees have been David Odinigwe (St. Katherine), Gaven Ramirez (Hope International University), Ronnie Stapp (Idaho State), and Tristan Williams (Hope International University).
