HOWLIN CHOOSES UTAH TECH

Sophomore center Sammy Howlin will be studying and playing at Utah Tech after signing with the Trailblazers this week.

Howlin rose up after surviving a serious car accident to become a champion in 2023 helping his FC team to an Orange Empire Conference title and a state title. The 6-11 big-man led the Hornets in blocks with 47 averaging 1.4 a game. Sammy also led the team in rebounding with 6.0 rebounds per game, while averaging 5.4 points in 33 games played.
