HORNETS MOVING ON
The FC soccer program is proud to announce that four of its players have committed to four-year colleges.
Sophomore Steve Perez signed with NCAA Division 2 National Champions Cal State Los Angeles. A two-year-starter and captain for the Hornets, Perez had 4 goals and 5 assists this past season helping the team to an OEC title in 2018.
Sophomore Giovanni Marsh signed his letter of intent with Cal State San Marcos. In 19 games played in 2021, Marsh had 2 goals and an assist working in as one of the better defenders on the team.
Brothers Tanner Coombs and Travis Coombs will stick together as they both signed with Biola University. Tanner scored 4 goals with 2 assists this past season, and Travis played in 17 games as a staunch defender.
Stay tuned as other Hornets will be signing soon! Ryan Meinardus, DJ Westwood, and Kevan Aragon all have offers on the table and will be deciding next week after their final visits.
