The No. 1 Hornets blanked Orange Empire Conference rival Golden West College 3-0 on the road Tuesday.

Holding the State's number one spot for the fourth straight week, FC has been on fire in the month of October outscoring its last five opponents 13-2 with the last three matches going down as shutouts.

The fireworks started early in this one with the Hornets scoring the first two goals in the 9th and 10th minutes. Juan Luis Quintana took the assist by Misael Gonzalez for the first goal and then Misael scored a minute later off the feed from Hayden Kenny.
 
Two minutes into the second half, Cesar Marquez got in on the action knocking one through the posts with the assist coming from Misael Gonzalez.
 
In 90-minutes, Jonathan Ortiz earned his 3rd shutout of the season with 3 Saves.
