M. CROSS COUNTRY: VARGAS ROCKS 3RD
The Golden West Invitational was run at Huntington Beach's Central Park on Friday and Ivan Vargas finished 3rd overall.
Vargas set the tone early for the Hornets running a very strong race on the four mile course out-pacing all but two out of 126 runners. His finish time was 21:30.1.
Cyrus Burton finished 57th overall with a time of 23:36.0, Orion Chavatipon was 80th at 24:58.1, and Angel Gallegos was 95th at 26:09.0.
