Fullerton pulled off an Orange Empire Conference home-win against Santiago Canyon Wednesday walking it off 3-2 in extra innings.

The win lands the Hornets at 10-3 overall and 4-1 in the OEC, while the Hawk loss put them at 6-9 overall and 0-3 in the OEC.

FC took a 1-0 lead in the second inning on Alendy Aguilar's single that ripped through the right side scoring Meah Almaraz.

In the fifth inning, SCC's Riley Piattoni hit a single to center field that tied up the game scoring Claire Greene.

The Hawks took a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth when Alyssa Jauregui homered over the right field ivy.

Fullerton knotted the game up in the sixth 2-2 when Cassidy Hornung reached first base on a SCC fielding error allowing Jocelyn Jauregui to come home.

The score remained a 2-2 until the ninth inning when Serina Vue singled up the middle plating Coco Siono for the walk-off win.

Allyson Fuentes (7-3) went the distance for the win tossing 9 resilient innings giving up 7 hits, 2 earned runs, had 3 walks, and 2 K's.

Up Next: The Hornets (10-3 overall, 4-1 OEC) travel to Saddleback College on Friday, March 10th for another OEC matchup at 2:00 pm.
