Former FC softballer Destiny "Lulu" Vasquez signed a contract to play overseas in Taiwan for the Taipei TFMI Bravo Bears.

A 2019 Fullerton College graduate, Vasquez was a dynamo in the circle for the Hornets going 18-3 overall with 107 K's, while sporting a 1.85 ERA. She was also dangerous at the plate batting .345 with 41 hits, 10 doubles, 5 home runs, scored 29 runs, and 36 RBI.

After FC, Vasquez earned a scholarship to Lee University where she wrapped up her senior season with a 2.10 ERA going 6-6. In 70 innings, she had 76 K's.

Since graduating from Lee, Vasquez has been working and serving as the pitching coach for the Ohana Tigers travel-ball organization.

"We are so proud of Lulu and what she has accomplished on and off the field. Playing overseas is such a great experience and we are cheering for her all the way", Coach Speedy Mendoza.

Taiwan Professional Women's Softball League (TPWSL) was founded in 2016 and allows one or two Division 1 or 2 college softball players from the United States per team. Currently, there are five teams that make up the league- the Campus Pangolins of Taichung City, Fu-Tian-Fu Chia-Nan Eagles of Nantou County, New Century Wasps of Kaohsiung City, New Taipei Caesar Warriors of New Taipei City, and the Taipei TFMI Bravo Bears of Taipei City.
