THREE HORNETS MOVE ON TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Meah Almaraz, Olivia Nunez, and Mika Ibarra all signed with four-year colleges.

One of the top hitters for the Hornets last season, Meah Almaraz signed with D1 Jackson State University. In 46 games played, Meah batted .338, had 46 hits, and 13 runs. She led the team in RBI (33) and doubles (17). She was a 1st Team All-Orange Empire Conference selection.

A two-year player for Fullerton, Olivia Nunez committed to Whittier College. An all-around player for the Hornets, Nunez is a solid pitcher and clutch hitter. She tossed 16 innings winning two games and losing one. Olivia had 2 K's with a 3.94 ERA. At the plate she batted .256 with 11 hits, 6 RBI, 4 runs, and had 5 walks. 

Mika Ibarra signed with Arlington Baptist. Playing in 10 games last season, Ibarra batted .333 overall with 3 runs, 2 walks, and 1 RBI.
