BLANKING SAN BERNARDINO VALLEY

The Hornets cruised past San Bernardino Valley College at home on Wednesday enforcing a 14-0 mery-rule win.

Fullerton racked up the hits with 18, while pitcher Macy Brandl held the Wolverines to 3 total hits for another shutout victory. In 5 innings, Brandl was impressive with no walks allowed and had 7 strikeouts.

It was a big first inning for FC as the Hornets jumped ahead with 9 runs. The team went on to add 3 more runs in the second inning and 2 more in the third inning to finish off the game with its third straight win.

Jordan Elias was perfect at the plate going 4 for 4 on the day with 2 runs scored. Veronica Moore was 2 for 2 with a run and 3 RBI. Coco Siono was also 2 for 2 and had 2 runs with 1 RBI. Jianna Lopez was 2 for 2 had 2 runs and 2 RBI.

Up Next: Fullerton (3-2 overall) will play a two home games on Friday, February 16th. Game one is at 10:00 am vs. Long Beach City College, and game two will take place at 3:00 pm vs. San Diego Mesa College. Come out and support your Hornets!
