WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: EARNING HER SPOTS
In her first year away from the Hornets Nest, Noelle Cobb is making her presence felt at the University of La Verne being named the Leopard's Player of the Week.
In her junior year, forward Noelle Cobb had her best week while playing for La Verne, averaging 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals against Pacific (Oregon) and Division I UC Santa Barbara. She had 18 points and seven rebounds in a nail-biter against the Boxers and came back to post 13 points and four rebounds against the Gauchos. She shot 56.5 percent on the week.
