WOMEN'S GOLF: OEC CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Monday, Kacy Kaichi's season low score of 76 strongly positioned Fullerton in second place after the first day of play in the conference finals held in San Diego with a team score of 330.

Tiffany Kohyama's 79 and Freshman Stormi Perry's career 86 aided in FC's quest to qualify for the state regionals playoffs.

The team trails only COD. Rounding out the top five teams are Palomar 344, Mt. SAC 351, IVC 352 and Saddleback 353.

Individually Kacy is in second place, 2 shots out of the lead, and Tiffany is tied for 5th.

On day two, the Hornet golf team continued their strong play at the OEC Finals sealing up a second place team finish. qualifiyng them for the state regional playoffs.

Several individual honors were earned with Kacy Kaichi and Tiffany Kohyama being named to the 1st team All-Conference team. Jesse Giese was named to the second team.

These three Hornets along with Freshman Stormi Perry qualified for the state regional individual championship to be help next week in Temecula.
