W. GOLF: GUTIERREZ TAKES THE TOP SPOT
The Hornets hosted OEC Event No. 5 on Monday at Coyote Hills and did not disappoint as FC's Chelsey Gutierrez led the field shooting a 78 on the day.
It was a rainy morning that turned out to be a pretty day with great results as Gutierrez took the top individual spot for the third time this season. Placing second was Saddleback College's Nikki Whipple, who shot 80. College of the Desert's Lehapi Veikune Taungahihifo took third with 82.
As a team, Fullerton finished with a 6th place score of 429.
FC's Sydney Gimpl shot 106, Alyssa Vasquez 107, and Natalie Barker wrapped it up at 138.
