FULLERTON HOSTS SUCCESSFUL OEC EVENT

The Hornets hosted their only Orange Empire Conference event of the season on Monday at the Fullerton College Golf Course and placed second overall.

The FC women's golf team competed with the best on their home course placing second out of seven colleges with a score of 345. Mt. SAC earned the top spot with a team score of 318 with three of its top golfers shooting in the seventies.

Individually, Kiana Glossner for Cuyamaca College tore up the field with the best score of the day shooting 69. College of the Desert's Lehapi Taungahihifo placed second (73), Mt. SAC's Kayla Loera finished third (75) and FC's own Cathilyn Lee took fourth place (76).

For the Hornets, Sophia Miller finished in a tie for 8th overall shooting 86 with Saddleback's Maddie Randolf. Rhea Sigur shot 90, Viddhi Sanghavi finished at 93, and Olivia Trivison shot 102.
