BASEBALL: YOUNG GUNS MAKE ALL-OEC
Three freshman Hornets are selected to the All-Orange Empire Conference team.
Pitcher Garrett Molnar, outfielder Thomas Delgadillo, and outfielder Chase Kerr all earned second team All-OEC honors this week.
A freshman from Sunny Hills High School, Molnar started 8 games with 14 appearances (51 innings) for Fullerton. He was 3-6 overall (1 save) with a 2.47 ERA, 41 strikeouts, and 20 walks.
Delgadillo, a freshman from Diamond Bar High School, led the Hornets at the plate batting .378. He had 45 hits, 9 doubles, 43 RBI, 22 runs, and 4 stolen bases.
A freshman from Glendora High School, Kerr batted .341 with 44 hits, 7 doubles, 18 RBI, and 23 runs.
