In the top of the fourth inning, San Bernardino Wolverines tied things up at two when Joseph Rodriguez hit into a 5-3 groundout allowing Jacob Johnson, who had previously doubled, to score.

In the third inning, Fullerton scored 2 runs to tie the game up. CF Monte Montenegro hit a hard single that brought in Ivan Vega. Then, 2B Ryan Aguirre came up hitting another hard single scoring SS Ivan Ramos.

The Hornets made their move in the fifth when Montenegro ripped a doubled to left center scoring SS Ivan Ramos putting FC in place for the win.

Starter Ricky Rivera (1-0) earned his first win going 6 innings giving up only 1 earned run with 4 K's and no walks. Austin Mills, Lourence Kao, and Jordan Wisner all got an inning of work. Wisner knocked down his first save of the season.
