FOOTBALL: ROSS BEST OF 2000's FOR LOBOS

Congratulations to former Hornet D'Angelo Ross, who was voted to the "Best of the 2000's" team for the University of New Mexico.

Ross becomes the fourth defensive back and 28th member of the 30-member squad chosen by the loyal Lobo fans. He played for New Mexico during the 2017 and 2018 seasons where he had 85 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble. After his college career, D'Angelo signed as a free agent with the New England Patriots.

Ross played for the Fullerton College football program during the 2015 and 2016 seasons helping the Hornets to a state title and national championship in 2016. He totaled 88 tackles and 6 interceptions in his two seasons with Fullerton.

An interesting article on D'Angelo Ross from last February about how the NFL should take him seriously.
