MEN'S BASKETBALL: WEBSTER NAMED IN TOP 50 IMPACTFUL COACHES

A very special congratulations goes out to Hornet men's basketball coach Perry Webster who was selected by Silver Waves Media as one of 50 impactful coaches in Men's JUCO Basketball in the nation.

In his five seasons as the head coach of the Fullerton College men's basketball program, Coach Perry Webster has been a dynamo winning 120 games with only 32 losses (.789 winning percentage). When he was hired in 2015 for his first stint as a head coach, Webster was the youngest in the state at 26 years old. He proved to be a winner right out of the gate taking the Hornets to the playoffs in five straight seasons, winning 20 plus games in each of the five seasons, plus playing in two State Championship title games (2017 and 2019). He led FC to a state title in 2019 while winning the Orange Empire Conference twice. Those accomplishments alone are impressive, but what makes it special is that his players work just as hard for him in the classroom. Over 24 players have signed scholarships to four-year colleges, while a majority of them graduate with an associate arts degree. In fact, all eight of the sophomores from the 2018-19 State Championship team put on their cap and gowns and walked their way to a degree.
