MEN'S SOCCER: FULLERTON OVER COMPTON

Fullerton ripped off another win last Friday at home against Compton College beating the Tartars 4-1. 

The Hornets scored their first goal in the 24th minute on a shot by Cesar Ortega with the assist coming from Michael Calderon.

FC scored again in the 35th minute on a shot by Carlos Esparza with the assist by way of Steve Perez.

Compton got on the board in the 50th minute when Benjamin Palafox to a pass from Jose Rodriguez.
 
Fullerton pulled away from the Tartars in the 75th minute when Nicacio Olvera fed Ryu Ichihara the ball and he kicked it past the Tartar goal keeper.

Oliver Meza delivered the final blow in the 80th minute scoring on a pass from Carlos Esparza.

Up Next: FC (4-1 overall) opens up conference-play at home against Irvine Valley College on Tuesday, September 11th. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
