MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: SBVC INVITATIONAL
The Hornets traveled to San Bernardino for the SBVC Invitational competing in a 10-team race this week.
The men had a small loop and then three big outside loops around the complex. It was definitely a course that all teammates could be seen.
Taking 36th overall out of 119 runners, Xavier Chavez ran a strong race with a time of 22:28. Just 41 seconds behind Chavez was teammate Ethan Sheatz who pulled in a personal best with a finish time of 23:09. Evan Bonnand improved running only 12 seconds behind Ethan for a time of 23:21. This has been our best grouping by far this season.
Wesley Maidlow and Oscar Barrios rounded out the team points for a ninth place finish.
"Our team goal was to be able to see each other and be closer in numbers with the men this week", said Hornet Head Coach Bevec.
