SOFTBALL: FABULOUS FOUR MOVING ON

Four players "Lefty" Avila, Briana "Beastie" Pineda, Alyssa Felipe, and Lisa Weiston have all signed on with a four-year college.

Outfielder Alexandria Avila - Cal State Monterey Bay

Playing in all 40 games this season, Avila managed to break her way into the FC record books with 40 RBI in a season (second all-time behind Natasha Sisco with 43). For the season, Avila batted .400, with 52 hits, 20 runs, and 5 home runs. She is currently the FC career leader in RBI (68), #4 career batting average (.405), #10 career hits (92), tied 1st triples in a season (7), 4th in career triples (8), tied 2nd for career home runs (9), tied 3rd in total bases in a season (92), tied 4th in total career bases (152), 2nd in slugging percentage in a season (.706), and 1st career slugging percentage (.664).

Third baseman Breana Pineda - Pikeville University (Kentucky)
Pineda played for the Hornets in 2012, red shirted, and then came back to tear it up in 2014. Playing in all 40 games this past season, Breana tore the cover off of the ball hitting 9 home runs setting a new school record at Fullerton. She also batted .389, with 43 runs, 31 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. Pineda broke into the record books in a few categories beginning with home runs in a season (9), 2nd career home runs (9), 5th runs in a season (43), 8th career runs (55), tied 10th RBI in a season (31), tied 6th doubles in a season (13), tied 10th career doubles (16), 3rd total bases in a season (91), 9th career total bases (118), 1st slugging percentage in a season (.722), 6th career slugging percentage (.526), 3rd strikeouts in a season (27), and 1st career strikeouts (46)

Pitcher/Utility Alyssa Felipe - Hope International University
Playing in 39 games in 2014, the versatile Felipe batted .303 with 17 runs, 10 RBI, and 9 stolen bases.  She also tossed 176.1 innings with 73 K's, with 3.10 ERA.

Shortstop Elesiah Weiston - Hope International University
A starting sophomore, Weiston led the Hornets in stolen bases in 2014 with 16. She batted .281 with 33 runs and 13 RBI.
