SOFTBALL: CCCAA ALL-SCHOLAR TEAM
The 2019 FC softball team was selected as a California Community College Athletic Association Scholar Team Recipient.
This special award emphasizes the academic achievements of the entire Hornet squad which achieved a 3.5 or higher in the classroom.
The team's accomplishments will be acknowledged at the Celebration of Scholar-Athletes Luncheon at the CCCAA Convention on April 1, 2020.
Led by head coaches Marian "Speedy" Mendoza and Crystal Aguirre, the 2019 Fullerton College softball team had an amazing season on the field with an overall record of 39-8, while making a strong run playing in the state tournament.
"We are very excited for the accomplishments and success the 2019 Team had in the classroom, on the field and in the community. They set goals and worked very hard at achieving them, by holding each other accountable. We've set the Academic standards and expectations of what it takes to be a Hornet.
