SOFTBALL: HUNTER ENSNARES 4-YEAR HOME

Sophomore standout Hunter Williams has committed to Thomas University and now has an athletic scholarship in her back pocket.

Williams will be traveling to Georgia to play for the Night Hawks after playing in 13 games this season due to COVID-19 shutting down all sports across most of the nation. The speedy baserunner still scored 7 runs for the Hornets. During her freshman year in 2019, Hunter batted .278, had 9 runs, and 2 stolen bases.

"We are so very proud of Hunter. She has worked extremely hard on the field as well as in the classroom these past two seasons. She is a very determined individual, and I am convinced that she will be successful at Thomas University. We all wish her the best", Hornet Head Coach Marian "Speedy" Mendoza.

Coaches Mendoza and Crystal Aguirre have been keeping in close contact with the Hornet softball team during the shutdown holding weekly meetings on Zoom. This tight-knit team will continue to stay together and have much success in the future. Stay tuned!

Congrats Hunter!
