WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: ROUGH HOME OPENER
The FC women's basketball team hosted one of the top teams in the state in Mt. San Antonio College Tuesday night losing their home opener 90-48.
The loss now gives FC an overall record of 1-2 on the season, while the Mountie win keeps them undefeated at 4-0.
It did not begin very well for FC as Mt. SAC went up 11-1 with 5 minutes left in the first quarter, and the Mounties kept a stranglehold on the lead for the remainder of the game.
Fullerton allowed 30 turnovers giving up 36 points to Mt. SAC.
Scoring a team-high 13 points for Fullerton was sophomore Taiana Buford. She also added 9 rebounds. Freshman Tristian Johns scored 9 points with 3 rebounds and sophomore Monica Hanna put up 8 points with 3 rebounds. Sophomore Nancy De La Cruz added 7 points.
Up Next: The Hornets (1-2) will play at the Palomar College Tournament November 18-20. FC will open with Santa Monica College on Friday, November 18th @ 5:00 pm.
